For those of you who check the very informative Nashville Shows blog that Shibby curates you will probably have already downloaded this, but this post isn't for those aforementioned people anyway so just go ahead and disregard this post. Now that I've gotten that out of the way.

Humilitate is straight up Spanish thrash from members of Violent Headache, and they are playing The Little Hamilton Collective this Sunday. If you are the type of person who doesn't like the idea of not knowing/understanding what someone is screaming at you, maybe this isn't for you. But if you are the person who understands how great foreign hardcore/thrash can be you will immediately understand how mandatory this is.

Let's start a forest fire

Have you ever seen every musician at a show look on very confused as the band crushes your hopes and dreams? Well that's what happened the first time Clinging To The Trees Of A Forest Fire came through town. This grind band out of Denver are definitely one of those bands that you need to see to experience fully. Lucky for you they are playing here July 31st at The Little Hamilton Collective.

Omega Drunk On The Blood Of Alpha is CTTTOAFF's second album that was released in 2008. On this they continued on in the style of their first ep Harmonies From Bleeding Mouths, but honed that style to a sharp point of grinding terror. In the last year or so these guys have been pretty busy, they signed to Prosthetic, released an album, and have gone through a slight line up change. Don't worry though, they might be super busy these days, but they still won't be too tired to grind your face off when they hit Nashville.

Premonitions

Since there is still no ModernHell full length out yet (though their second 7" Black Sermon is coming out in July) I came to the conclusion that their first ep Premonitions should get some attention on Internal Struggle. This very short ep is only three songs and clocks in at just under four minutes and it shows the band in their infancy though I don't mean that in a bad way at all. The sound on this ep is much more straight ahead hardcore (with hints of early AFI) than their current sound which takes that hardcore attitude and throws in some mathy goodness to confuse you 4/4 head-bangers out there. I'm pretty sure they only made around a hundred of these so I figured some people missed out on this ep or maybe you just lost it in that crevice in your car that eats things. So here it is, and if you still don't have a copy of their most recent ep Cult Hazing you should probably do yourself a favor and pick that up, you cheapskate.

Also, you should go to the release show for the Black Sermon 7" on July 29th at The Little Hamilton Collective, But I guess that's all up to you isn't it?
